Snoqualmie Pass, Wash. November 2nd, 2009 – The Summit at Snoqualmie, located less than an hour east of downtown Seattle, has completed the formation of the management team that will guide the operations for the 2009-2010 winter season.

TERRAIN PARKS: Summit Central features a top-to-bottom terrain park, named Central Park, off of the Central Express High Speed Quad Chairlift. Central park is home to the only superpipe in Washington. For new terrain park users, Summit Central features the Greenhorn Acres Progression Park with small snow and jib features.

TRANSPORTATION: The Summit at Snoqualmie is easily accessible from Seattle, WA via Interstate 90. All major airlines serve Sea-Tac International Airport in Seattle.

LODGING: Lodging is available adjacent to the Summit West base area at the independently owned and operated Howard Johnson – Summit Lodge, an 82 room property built in 1989. NEW IMPROVEMENTS FOR 2009-2010:

  • 550 spot parking lot and access road constructed at Summit Central, just below the Summit Tubing Center
  • Minor cosmetic remodeling of the Denny Mountain Lodge at Alpental
  • Newly remodeled “Shot Ten” on-hill bathrooms at Alpental
  • New lift shacks constructed at Alpental’s St. Bernard and Sessel chairlifts
  • Slope stabilization at Summit East
  • Design and permitting for fixed grip triple chair at Hyak (installation expected summer 2010)
